Food Inc....
Well I am watching the movie Food Inc.and disgust doesn't even begin to describe how I feel. I am not really sure what to think of it, Mariah just decided to never eat meat again, we will see how long that lasts. I know I will not give up eating meat -I love meat. This however goes way deeper than just meat - to just about everything that we purchase and consume. I know that I will be much more selective to what I buy and purchase as much as I can locally. Much to think about, food for thought :O)

While I support anyone's choice to go meat-free, it is not the answer if change is what you want. What you are choosing, to put your money in the right places and build a better future, is the answer.
The big soy/ vegetarian industry is just as dirty. Local-sustainable is the direction we took it. With our every effort we attempt to be the change we want in this world.
Oh I absolutely agree with this and she has already ate meat. She is only 9 years old. I agree that we need to be the change that we want to see.
I just watched the other day, I have had it on my list on Netflix for a while. I agree local is the way to go, we are trying, I think every improvement is a step in the right direction :)
