Today brought the first day of February, Super Bowl Sunday, the beginning of the stomach flu in our house and my weigh-in to end January. I weigh 168.5 pounds, which means I have lost 11.5 pounds in January. I know not to expect these results each month, but I feel it is a terrific start. My weight loss goal for February is 8.5 pounds and then the following months I hope to lose five pounds each month. At this pace I will be at my goal by the end of October. Sooner would be awesome, but for a person to lose 60 pounds and keep it off takes time. I also know I am building muscle and that weighs more. I know I have not made some of the best choices this last month and still did excellent so I am excited to make better choices in February. If anybody gives me a box of chocolate for Valentine's Day I will choke them.
The biggest motivation for me is not the scale though but the pictures I took of me in my bra and panties when I first started. I won't post them on here in fear of offending somebody but the difference in my stomach in the last 30 days in the most unbelievable thing ever. The end of December my stomach was bloated and extended and hung over my underwear in the most disgusting way possible. I am still fat but the picture that ends the month of January is much better. The stomach is much firmer and more tight, but definitely still fat. I am working on that.
Here is too a wonderful month of February.
