The weather has been unusually nice and it has been in the high 50s even lows 60s the last couple of days. I hope it stays this way as my tomato and pepper plants are really growing in the house.

The duck pen has been finished for about two weeks. It is much nicer for the ducks and they seem to love it. I have seperated the Runner ducks from the Welsh Harlequin. Pics of the new pen.

The new chicken run is done. I now have the main egg laying house, the Black/Blue/Splash Orpington pen and the Easter Egger pen. I can't wait to hatch some of those babies out. I will be putting in some more Orpington eggs next Wednesday. The rooster has finally learned how to be a manly rooster.

I am waiting until next Wednesday because the incubator has 4 turkey eggs in it presently and they take 28 days to hatch where as chicken eggs take 21. I am hoping these are fertile, picked them up when I went to Spokane on Wednesday. I will candle them when I stick the Orpington eggs in next week.

I just found out that I will be going back to Spokane next Wednesday for Em to get her AFOs so I am still looking for some turkey poults up there.
There has been other big happenings around here. Josh caught his first steelhead on his fly rod with a fly he tied.

Mariah played in her 2nd basketball game. She is loving it and it is so much fun to watch the games.

Well I will be back soon to post more updates, I promise!!
