Today is a slow day for me but not as slow as yesterday. Yesterday I slammed my van into a fairly large deer. Killed the deer on impact and did $3800 worth of damage to my car. Life is good though because my van is getting fixed and my mom (who was with me) and I are okay, sore and tender but okay. Didn't even see that deer into I was slamming into it, braked my car as I was hitting it so it was quite the impact.
We have decided the turkeys are a no go. I was excited about them but everything I have read does say they can be quite loud and since we live in town we decided not to press our luck. I am lucky because living where we live is convenient and I have the best neighbors. Dale told me it was ultimately my choice and I have decided to turn my attention to another animal. I am not sure what it might be as of yet, but I have the fencing down there so we might as well fence something.
I ordered hatching eggs from the internet last night. I am so excited to get them and get them in my incubator. I am going to try to post pics of what some of them may look like. They are so funny looking. It doesn't want to let me post pics here so I will attach a link if you want to click and paste it into your browser.

We have our monthly 4-H meeting tonight and Miss Mariah and I made cupcakes in icecream cones and frosted them green. Then she sprinkled daisy mix sprinkles on them. Hope the 4-H kids like them. Josh is taking fishing as a 4-H project this year. I a trying to convince him to take another project. Mariah is taking goats, chickens, sewing, fishing and also doing the fashion show in September. She loves being busy.
