My garden plans.......

if it ever stops raining. I am collecting the animals and I am beginning to wonder if it is almost time to build an ark! I am ready to dig in the dirt and watch sprouts grow and water and enjoy home-grown veggies! YUM!

I have sketched my garden out on paper and think I have it figured out. It looks like this:

Bed #1 - strawberries - don't expect much of a harvest because I just planted them this year. They were strawberries starts I ordered from Gurneys and they are already growing under the clear viscreen. I can see little green leaves popping up on them.

Bed #2 - green bush beans, onions and swiss chard

Bed #3 - hot peppers (ordered from Gurneys), okra (already started growing in the house) and yellow squash

Bed #4 - red potaotes, broccoli and carrots

Bed #5 - watermelon

Bed #6 - tomatoes (ordered from Gurneys) and cherry tomatoes

I can't wait until I can get the broccoli, potatoes, and onions in. They will go in first and I am hoping in the next two weeks.
