Another Day!

This is what I would have loved to spend the day doing, alas it was not be.

I had daily chores to do, laundry to wash, fold and put away, veggie baskets to deliver, chickens to sell and deliver, get the girls signed up for the summer reading program and more.

In between rain storms I ran out to the garden and pick veggies for my weekly baskets. This is what the mess looked like when I brought them in fresh from the garden.

Here are the finished baskets ready to be delivered; this week they had chicken and duck eggs, radishes, rhubard, two different lettuces, onions, cilantro, mint and a little head of broccoli in them.

The lambs are growing, the oldest two are looking great and really putting some weight on. Their ribs no longer show and they are sucking on the bottles great. They act like they are starving all the time and when the bottle runs out, they look at you like that is really all we get. They are starting to run around and made us laugh on a daily basis. Little Boo is still struggling to figure out the bottle but we are making progress. He is slowly growing. I think he may be growing okay but the other two still tower over him.

I love the first pic of Mariah and the lambs because she is not posing with a cheesy smile but just enjoying being with the lambs.
