Summer Time.....

The beginning of summer means different things for different people but here in my family it means several things...

For my hubby it means



that my feet will be stained brown and rough until the snow flies, he does demand I scrub them before bed, it doesn't matter if I just get out of the shower, he will ask me are your feet clean. LOL!

For my Mariah it means



being able to read whatever she wants whenever she wants and not being forced to actually get out her schoolbooks

For my Josh it means


NOT being around for me to capture on film, it means hanging with his friends, working or volunteering at the local kid's college.

For me summer means lots of working outside and lots of being hot and sweaty but for me one big thing that signals summer is here is when I break down and



and turn that thing on. I can mentally see the power company's banking account going up. However it doesn't matter if it costs an arm and a leg because this little lady



must be kept cool; otherwise the consequences can be life-threatening as we found out the hard way. If she overheats she becomes unresponsive and it is very scary!!


Summer also means lots of fun and lots of friends when you have one of these in your backyard; there have been kids over here everyday playing in the pool and having a splashing good time. It is a pleasure to see them come and occasionally a pleasure to see them go home.
