A to-Do List sort of Completed

We had a list of things to do a couple of pages long when we woke up Friday morning to complete this week-end; on Friday and Saturday we worked at a steady pace trying to get caught up from all the rain. We knew when we went to bed last night if Sunday was nice and we worked hard we would be a little more caught up. it is early summer so being caught up completely is not even fathomable. LOL

List of things accomplished:

- cleaned the garage, was a huge mess from the engine overhaul
- took a GIGANTIC load to the dump, it took us an hour and 20 minutes to get it all unloaded
- weed-eated the sections we thought were important
- pulled the dead flower bulb tops
- sprayed weed killer
- sprayed the fruit trees
- weeded the garden
- built a different meat tractor, this one is MUCH easier to move and doesn't look like a pile of trash draped in the yard
- re-inforced the pallet stalled that I made in the barn as it knocked over
- sold the ducklings and cleaned up their messy cage
- mowed the lawn around the house and a strip around the garden, left the rest for the goats
- started working on my blueberry bed area
- turned the compost
- other misc projects that we needed to do

Today is looking like two scenarios -

With Rain -

Rest and cleaned the kitchen cabinets out; I am sure dh will continue working on getting the riding lawn mower fixed

Without Rain -

- transplant a tree
- burn the brush piles
- pull more weeds
- turn the compost

Regardless though we will spend the day enjoying the wonderful dad and grandpas in our life. We are blessed to have them in our lives.
