Tired, Tired, Tired.....
Today was another beautiful day in the 40s. The sun kept trying to shine so we decided we would get started on some yard work. And work we did. We cleaned out the duck yard and seperate the ducks by breed - Welsh Harlequin, Runner and Cayuga. It was cute; they seemed happy to be back in their own pens instead of the main winter pen. We cleaned out the green trailer from the pig hauling day. We pulled all the old veggie plants and corn stalks from the garden and spread the chicken manure some more that we put down in the fall. We then picked up a zillion pieces of plastic that came off the greeenhouse during the windstorm. It blew off and was brittle from the sun of last summer. When we went to pick up those pieces they would break into another million pieces. Long, tedious job but it was a neccessary one. We raked out the woodshed and pruned two more trees. Then we went into town for an IEP meeting for Emmy at school and picked up the panels to make the buck and wether pen.
