Weigh-In #3
Today was weigh-in day, the scale was at 171, two pounds lost this week, 9 pounds total. I have set my first "big" goal and that is to get to 163. To weigh 163 pounds would move me out of the obese catergory and get me to the overweight zone. I never thought I would be happy to move to the overweight zone but I would be thrilled. The website, MYFITNESSPAL, is a wonderful, helpful forum that is a great motivator for me. Mom and I started water aerobics yesterday, it is on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 45 minutes, love it. We have been going early and swimming laps, if you ever want to feel out of shape, swim laps without stopping for 20 minutes. Yes, you can sweat in water. Lovely feeling! Mom and I are slowly working on our 1000 miles, you know I don't even know if she knows I expect her to walk 1000 miles, I just added her name to my ticker since she is my walking partner. This is actually walking for exercise, not just walking for daily activities.
